Wiltshire fire brigade blazes a trail over 60 years

An off duty fireman discovered this blaze which started in Halls butchers in 1998 in the ‘fire hot spot’ of Marlborough High Street

Wiltshire Fire Brigade, now called Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, came into being on April 1 1948 and, to celebrate the 60th anniversary, local historian Rod Priddle has produced a volume of photographs.
